Free Tours Groningen shows you around in the great city of Groningen. We’ll guide you along some of the most interesting places. The duration of the tour is 1½ hours. You’ll hear stories about the past and the present, and you’ll get a local’s perspective on where to eat, drink and party.
We run tours on the following days:
Saturday morning at 10.30 am
Saturday afternoon at 01.30 pm
Our tour is a great way to get to know Groningen quickly. All the guides thoroughly experienced the Groningen life and know the city like the back of their hands. While walking, you can feel the atmosphere of the city, meet interesting people and ask us everything you want to know.
We use the free tour philosophy: you don’t pay anything before you join the tour… at the end, you pay whatever you think it was worth!
To join the tour please book in advance by filling out the reservation form. Per tour we have space for 15 people.
After you have made your reservation we welcome you at the statue of St. George and the Dragon, next to the Martini Tower. If you are coming with a group consisting of more than 10 people, please send us an email. It is also possible to book private tours.
Tours are in English (unless everyone speaks Dutch).
